The run of national success for the Greenville men's track and field program has reached new heights. Riding the national championship of senior Bruce Gray in the 100 meter dash and a runner up finish by Gray in the 200, Greenville accumulated a school-record 25 points to place sixth overall, it's best overall finish at the national meet in school history.

Both entries from the men's track and field team that competed Thursday at the NCAA national championships advanced to the finals. The 4x100 relay team and Bruce Gray in the 200 moved on to Saturday's competition and will receive All-American distinction.
