The men's basketball mounted a comeback of over 20 points to get back in the contest but fell short as they lost 90-84 to MacMurray on Saturday. Ron Harris was the leading scorer in the game with 24 points.

The men's basketball team kept up with Spalding for the first place mark in the SLIAC as the Panthers held on for a 74-70 win at Fontbonne on Wednesday. Greenville got 16 points and three steals from Tim Daniel.

The women's basketball team mounted a come-from-behind effort to tie the game with less than four minutes to play but couldn't get over the hump as Fontbonne won 59-52 on Wednesday night. Laura Goodnight had 21 points and seven rebounds to post game-high's in both categories.
