GC alumna Nicole (Tucker 08) Crites was recently named a rising star in the grocery industry. Progressive Grocer included thefinancial analyst on its 2016 list ofTop Women in Grocery. Nicole works for Supervalu/Save-A-Lot.
Total Package of Dedication, Professionalism and MoreProgressive Grocers Top Women in Grocery Awards program is the retail food industrys premier womens leadership recognition platform. Now in its tenth year, Top Women in Grocery honors outstanding female leaders within the retailer and supplier communities in three sectors: Senior-Level Executives, Rising Stars and Store Managers.
Criteria for selection include a total package of dedication, professionalism, creativity, resourcefulness, assertiveness, inspiration to others, generosity with their time and passion for what they do. Awardees routinely go above and beyond expectations both at work and in the wider world of her industry peers and community.
Initiator and Mentor With a Servant's HeartNicole was honored for improvements she initiated to Save-A-Lots budget process, her role as a mentor to other financial analysts, her work on the Save-A-Lot United Way and Volunteers in Action committees and her commitment to serving as a Big Sister. Nicole is a member of the MESA group at Save-A-Lot, a women's business resource group dedicated to Mentoring, Empowering, Supporting and Achieving.
