Job Description

Part time position. This part-time, 26 hour per week position will assist in overseeing and implementing the requirements for audio systems and training for effective execution at the Fenton campus of The Crossing. Job Responsibilities include the following: Involved in making sure all details at assigned campus are cared for with excellence. Ensure audio systems at assigned campus are maintained and assist with system installs. Mix audio as needed where needed. Provide class support as needed where needed. Provide tech support and mix audio for weekly Youth services at assigned campus. Assist campus TD with stage design, installs and maintenance of assigned campus systems. Learn tech systems and process so to serve in other areas on the TechArts team as needed. Participate in Program Production meetings, TechArts Staff and related meetings. Other duties as assigned by leadership. Required Qualifications: Experience Needed For This Position- Two years of sound and/or production engineering (or equivalent combination of training/experience). Ability to reach and maintain desired live audio mix in a short amount of time. Must have experience working with musicians. Extensive knowledge and experience in a range of musical styles. Working knowledge stage and console patching. Experience in troubleshooting and on the spot problem solving to seek fast solutions. Shows ability to be an active learner of new technology and common trends. All qualified individuals must meet the above job-specific requirements, in addition to the following requirements for all staff members of The Crossing: Be passionate about The Crossing and a relationship with God. Baptized as a follower of Christ. Completion of all vision venues within the first year of employment. Regard the Bible as God’s final authority in all areas of Christian life and desire to be wholly obedient to it.
