Job Description

Part time position. The Support Desk Technician's primary role is assisting Greenville University students and employees with computer support, account support, and other Informational Technology support. Our Support Desk Technicians are the primary contact point with the rest of campus for all IT related problems or questions. IT Student workers support the IT department by engaging users with good customer service and competent technical skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Communicating effectively with end users (faculty/staff/students). Directing tickets to the appropriate senior technicians. Documenting all technical issues reported. Practicing strong customer service skills. Performing basic hardware and software troubleshooting. Performing basic imaging procedures. Required Qualifications: Any technology or customer service experience is preferred.
