Andrea Martin
Hometown: Yorba Linda, CA
High School: Esperanza High School
Club Team: Corona Express Gold
Position: 3B/1B
Major: Pre-Med/Biology
Coach Comments:
Andrea is a competitor! Andrea has a lot of big game experience and has played with the Corona Express Gold, a very successful team out of Southern California. Andrea is the type of player that makes everyone around her better. Andrea is a good hitter with a strong arm. We look for her to come in a fill an opening left by the departure of Rachel Brewer. The impact that Andrea will have on this program is tremendous.

 

Jessie Finke
Hometown: Loami, IL
High School: New Berlin High School
Position: Catcher
Major: Education
Coach Comments:
Jessie is a very strong student and athlete and will help us tremendously behind the plate. Jessie is very solid behind the plate with her receiving and framing and has the ability to throw runners out. A true quarterback behind the plate, Jessie will make and immediate impact.

 

 

Bryn McKie
Hometown: St. Louis, MO
High School: Westminster Christian Academy
Club Team: Midland Magic Red
Position: OF
Major: Business Management/Art
Coach Comments:
Bryn comes from a very strong club and high school team and I expect her to come in and make an immediate impact in our program. Bryn brings power and speed to our offensive lineup and will help to fill in some openings left in the outfield with the departure of Brya Irvin and Lindsey Schuberth. She is a strong lefty hitter that has explosive speed; she can bunt for a hit, or drive the ball in gap, or over the fence.

 

Shannon Elbe
Hometown: Mascoutah, IL
High School: Mascoutah High School
Club Team: Southern Illinois Dirt Dawgs
Position: OF/1B
Major: Education
Coach Comments:
Shannon is an outstanding student and solid athlete that will be a key contributor to our outfield and offensive lineup. She has a great mix of both speed and power, two attributes that will fit nicely with the things we are trying to accomplish in our program. Shannon's abilities are sure to give us one of the best outfields in the conference.

 

Danielle Helms
Hometown: North Aurora, IL
High School: Aurora West High School
Club Team: Bombers Fastpitch
Position: Middle Infield
Major: Criminal Justice
Coach Comments:
We are very excited to add Danielle to our roster for next season. Danielle is a quiet but feisty competitor than can play both middle infield positions. Danielle is a work-oriented athlete who will, by sheer determination and athletic ability, find a spot on the field.
