GREENVILLE, Ill. – Greenville College Softball managed to sneak a double-header in on Tuesday as they avoided wet conditions and showers. The ladies came up short in the opener, dropping the contest in an 8-7, eight-inning battle. However, GC bounced back in the nightcap with a 16-3 slugfest win.
With the split, Greenville College Softball moves to 11-16 (5-5 SLIAC) on the season with eight games left on their 2011 schedule, with six of the eight games set as conference matchups.
