The Greenville College women's volleyball team overcame a slow start to earn a sweep of Benedictine Springfield Thursday evening in Greenville.
The Lady Panthers committed five attacking errors in their opening game against the Eagles, but matched that total in 48 chances over the next two games to improve to 2-3 on the young season.
Despite totaling just eight kills in 28 attacks in the opening game, Greenville won it 25-21.
In a convincing 25-13 game-two win, the Lady Panthers had kills in nearly half of their attempts. They totaled 14 in 29 tries while committing just two errors.
Greenville sealed the win with a 31.6 kill percentage in the third game, cruising to a 25-11 win.
