ELSAH, Ill. -- The women's basketball team snapped an eight-game slide and returned to the win column with a 60-46 victory at Principia on Saturday. Coley Baker was a workhorse for the Lady Panthers as she led the team with 18 points, nine rebounds, and six blocked shots.
Principia held a two-point lead at halftime, but Greenville stormed back in the second half, shooting 60 percent from the field to open up the game and claim a 14 point win.
Season leading scorer Emily Gundy posted 14 points in the effort.
With the win, Greenville tied two other teams for seventh place in the SLIAC standings.
The Lady Panthers (5-11, 2-7 SLIAC) host Eureka on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
