GREENVILLE, Ill. -- Senior Emily Gundy capped her four year career Tuesday with a game-high 24 points as Greenville defeated Principia 60-48. The win gave Greenville its 10th victory of the season.
The Lady Panthers had to take control in the second half as they faced a one-point deficit at halftime. The women outshot Principia in all three categories -- field goal percentage, three point field goal percentage, and free throw percentage -- as they topped Principia by 13 points in the second stanza.
Coley Baker was Greenville's top performer in rebounds and assists as she posted 10 rebounds and five assists.
The Lady Panthers forced 21 Principia turnovers in collecting 12 steals.
The women's team concluded their season with a sixth place SLIAC record of 7-11, including a win over the third place squad from Eureka, and an overall mark of 10-15.
