GREENVILLE, Ill. -- Greenville College's Terrance Cosby, a senior from Jefferson City, Mo., has been named the Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September 13-19.
Cosby, a center back, anchored the Panthers defense in two victories last week. Greenville defeated non-conference opponents Harris-Stowe State University, 4-0, and Monmouth College (Ill.), 3-1. He also scored one goal in the win against Monmouth.
"Terrance's leadership and organization of the defense helped shut down our opponent's attack," commented Greenville head coach Brian McMahon. "He was strong in defending one-on-one situations and additionally scored a goal in the process."
