Robbie Schomaker Assumes Position of Interim Head Football Coach

The Greenville College football program will play the 2013 season under new leadership as offensive coordinator Robbie Schomaker has been promoted to interim head coach. Schomaker replaces former head coach Ordell Walker who accrued a career record of 22-9, coached the team to the school's first NCCAA Victory Bowl championship, and guided the football program to UMAC championships in 2010 and 2012.

GC Represented Well in NCCAA Football Post Season Honors

Six men connected with the Greenville College football prorgam were among those who earned postseason recognition by the NCCAA for the 2012 season. GC gained notoriety for some of the most prestigious awards with Coach Ordell Walker being named head coach of the year and quarterback Brenden Chambers nabbing offensive player of the year.

NCCAA Victory Bowl Goes to Overtime as Panthers Slip by Eagles 28-27

The top two teams in the NCCAA came together Saturday in Greenville for the 2012 Victory Bowl and proved that was where they belonged as the Greenville Panthers topped the Northwestern Eagles 28-27 in overtime.
