Andrew Rode began his tenure at Greenville College in 2010.  He has served as offensive coordinator since 2013.  He also coaches the wide receivers.  Rode is coming off an impressive first year debut as the Panthers Offensive Coordinator.  Rode oversaw an offense that produced first team all-conference selection and UMAC player of the year Brendan Chambers.  The 2013 Panther offense was also ranked nationally, finishing third in rushing and 18th in total offense.  Rode also oversaw an offense that had six first and second team all-conference selections.  Rode was instrumental in helping the Panthers to a school best 9-1 record in the regular season and an NCCAA victory bowl appearance.

As special teams coordinator in 2013, Coach Rode mentored kicker Josh Frewin who was a second team all-conference selection and the UMAC special teams player of the year.  The Panther PAT/FG team and kickoff team were ranked at the top of the UMAC statistics.

Rode came to Greenville as a graduate assistant coach under Ordell Walker.  He coached running backs and slots his first two seasons on the staff and in 2010 mentored first team all-conference and UMAC offensive player of the year selection Anthony Ambers.  Ambers was also a third team all-north region selection.  That same year, Rode helped the Panther offense rank eighth in the national rushing standings.  In 2011, Rode mentored another all-conference selection at the running back position while helping the Panthers finish fifth nationally in the run game standings.

Coach Rode joined the Panthers from Anderson College where he served as the wide receiver coach and video coordinator for one season.  He was heavily involved in breakdowns and film exchange, and he recruited central Indiana.

Coach Rode is a graduate of Wabash College where he studied Psychology.  He was a three year letter winner in both football and track.  As a Wabash wide receiver and in his four year tenure, the football team finished with an overall record of 40-7.  Rode was also a part of the the Wabash team Unity Council his senior year in college.  Rode has completed his master's degree in education from Greenville College.  He is married to Joy Rode who also works at Greenville College.
