What could happen in a day?

Campus Visits and Tours

The admissions office hosts visits throughout the semesters on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning at 9:00 am. A visit will last 2-6 hours and begins with an information session wherein you will be provided an overview of the College, student life, the application process and financial aid, with time for a question/answer session at the end. Use the registration form on the right to schedule a personal visit or call us at 800.345.4440.

These weekly campus visits and tours are designed to provide you with a time to visit chapel, take a campus tour, attend a class and have lunch with an admissions ambassador. Tours depart from the admissions office at Joy House immediately following chapel, weather permitting.

Attending Classes

While you are here one of the best ways to sample Greenville College's academic experience is to sit in and observe a class. Each semester, the Office of Admissions compiles a list of classes for students to visit. On the day of your visit we’ll find an available class for you to attend.

Please note that class visits are not available during the first week of the semester, on weekends, holidays, summer, or during reading days, the Common Day of Learning or during final exams.

Lunch

Prospective students can join Greenville College students for lunch and find out for themselves what not only dorm food is like but get their questions about the campus student experience answered. You’ll eat, have a casual conversation, and experience everyday student life.

Lunch is free for visiting prospective students.

Family members who plan to join their student(s) for lunch should bring $7.10 per adult and $6.10 for children ages 6-10; children 5 and under eat for free. Visit Day lunches take place in our all-you-can-eat buffet dining hall in Armington Center

Planning to Stay Overnight?

For a thorough view of student life at Greenville College, we encourage you to stay overnight in a residence hall with a current student. Overnight visits are available to prospective high school seniors and juniors on select weeknights throughout the academic year, beginning in Mid-September through the middle of May, on a space available basis. Don’t forget to bring your sleeping bag and pillow. Parents can relax at nearby hotels, a list of which can be found here.

Overnight requests should be made at least one week in advance, through this website or by contacting an admissions counselor.  Should you have further questions concerning our overnight program, please feel free to contact our office by phone (800.345.4440) or email (admissions@greenville.edu).
