Admissions Information

Instructions and Checklist for International Students Applying to Greenville College

For admission to Greenville College, the following information is needed. Print this page and use it to keep track of what information has been sent.

Carefully read the Growing and Learning Together Lifestyle Statement.

Send the following information:

Schedule a phone interview with GC Counselor to discuss plans of attending GC If requested by the Admissions Counselor.

If accepted a $2,000 USD deposit is required before we will issue your I-20 to receive your VISA. ($200 deposit if Canadian)

TOEFL Score Requirements:

  • Paper-Based Total: 550
  • Computer-Based Total: 173
  • Internet-Based Total: 79

IELTS Score Requirements: 5.5

If you have below one of these scores, you may still apply and we will review your file. If you don't have access to the TOEFL or IELTS, we will accept either the SAT or ACT. Please let us know if you have questions.

After Acceptance:

  • Submit 2,000USD Enrollment Deposit

When transferring money, please make sure you attach the student's name to ensure the money gets applied to the correct account. 

NOTE:  Depending on the way the money is transferred, there could be additional bank fees that Greenville College will apply to the student's account.

After Deposit:

  • After Greenville College has processed your acceptance and received your 2000USD deposit, we will send the I-20 Immigration document to your home address. You will need to pay the 200USD SEVIS I-901 fee through http://www.ice.gov/sevis/index.htm and have your receipt before scheduling your VISA interview. Find your US Embassy at http://www.usembassy.gov/ to schedule your interview and to find the documents that you will need to bring with you to the appointment.
