The Greenville University Music Department embraces dedicated and disciplined students desiring to pursue diverse types of music while offering their best to God. With faculty members eager to teach and mentor these talented students, our strong degree programs in Audio Engineering, B.A. in Music, Commercial Music, Music Business, Music Education and Worship Arts, along with special emphases in Composition, Performance and Songwriting as well as a Music Minor, we offer the opportunity for developing professional competence in a variety of career fields. Plentiful performance, ministry, and internship opportunities afford professional and spiritual growth for both music majors and interested students from every other department in the college. Music Education at Greenville University offers students K-12 band and choral certification, allowing certified graduates to teach music at all levels of public school education. Our recent graduates have 98% success at obtaining teaching jobs or graduate school enrollment. Recent graduates in Music Education teach in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado, Missouri, and Kansas.  Music Education Majors have the unique opportunity to help shape the music of the future.
