About Scott McFarlane

Aside from his family and work, Scott currently serves on the board of the Global Business Leadership Center, and leads the MBA trips to China, India and the United Arab Emirates annually. He is also on the board of Friends of Immanuel University, a liberal arts Christian university in India for the Dalit, lower caste, poor and marginalized young people seeking educational opportunities to lift them and their families out of poverty.

Scott is also an Adjunct Professor at Cornerstone University and Greenville College.

Scott is married and has 3 children. He resides in Greenville, IL (near St. Louis, MO.)

Scott is the Managing Director for Compass Global and serves customers and partners in North America, Europe, and Asia. Compass Global works to assist companies with an Asian strategy by partnering with trusted technology partners in Asia and/or assessing market entry and growth strategies for accessing the growing Asian markets. Compass Global has established like-minded and trusted partners to help companies realize a global strategy.

Scott has been traveling and working in Asia for the last 20 years. Prior to starting Compass Global, Scott led the effort to open an office in the Philippines and served as the Asia Pacific Program Manager and ultimately as the Global Account Executive of Trax Technologies serving a Fortune 100 customer. Scott has also lived in Hong Kong for 2 years, and directed a not-for-profit educating business students and executives about the unique opportunities to integrate one’s faith in God with his or her business calling. Scott earned an MBA from Spring Arbor University in 2002.
