Job Description:

Greenville College is seeking a Part-time Piano Accompanist beginning with the 2017-18 academic year.  Accompany Vocal and Instrumental Students, College Choral Ensembles, and other Departmental Accompanying duties. Approximately 10-15 hours of accompanying per week.  8 Month Position – Fall & Spring Semester (Late August-Late December; Late January-Late May).

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or artist diploma. Choral and general accompanying experience required.  Excellent reading skills. Ability to play open score. Evidence of successful collaborative work with soloists, as well as in choral setting. Strong technical and musical skills as a performer.  Acquaintance with both classical and commercial musical styles required.  Commitment to working with undergraduates in a liberal-arts setting. Must maintain a professional appearance; be in sympathy with and supportive of the Christian mission of Greenville College.  Some night and weekend responsibilities required.
